Claudia Rodriquez
My very good friend and her partner found a Pug wandering the streets and took her in. She's micro-chipped but the owner's information was never updated. The owner's name: Claudia Rodriquez (okay I changed the last name to protect the dog). The really funny thing is that they started calling the DOG, the owner's name. Apparently, she's quite a character. My buddy recently shared the following Christmas poem and picture set with some of us.
Three nights before Christmas, and all through the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The children were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of doggie treats danced in their heads;
Ma was out scrap-booking, as I sat at my desk,
Had just settled down for a bit of a rest;
When out in the kitchen there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the desk to see what was the matter;
Away to the kitchen I flew like a flash,
Threw open the door, as madly I dashed;
Tripped on the gate and stubbed my big toe,
The lights were too dim to see objects below.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But "Claudia Rodriquez" without any fear,
Up on the counter, with hiney atop,
the apples and candy, and our good chopping block!
Our new mugs were broken, and down on the floor,
were cookies and cakes and oh so much more;
"Now, Sharon!, now Mia!, now Natalie!, I'm fixin'
To make a found pug, go once again missin'!

Somehow, this little Poot, managed to get herself up on the counter... and
then...
